       MAY 2024 The Babe Ruth Museum today announced that it has revived the tradition of presenting the Babe Ruth Crown to Major League Baseball’s top slugger. Yesterday, in a ceremony outside the New York Yankees’ clubhouse at Oriole Park, museum representatives presented the Crown to Yankees’ slugger Aaron Judge, who in 2022 set the A.L. home run record with 62, surpassing the mark of 61 by fellow Yankee Roger Maris in 1961.
