This is a recreation of the Miss USA Diamond Nexus Crown, created by Diamond Nexus Labs of Franklin, Wisconsin, the official jewelry sponsor of the Miss Universe Organization.

The crown was unveiled on April 16, 2009, at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, as part of NBC's Green Week, and first worn by Kristen Dalton of North Carolina, crowned Miss USA 2009 on April 19, 2009. Valued at over $200,000, its centerpiece carries 51 special jewels, symbols of the 51 contestants who competed for the title.

Tall and sparkling, with a wide fan-like base of radiating stones topped by an ornate openwork crest, it is a true full crown. And true to its maker, it is eco-friendly: its stones are lab-created and conflict-free, made without the environmental harm of mining. Diamond Nexus crowns went on to be worn by later Miss USA winners, including Alyssa Campanella in 2011 and Olivia Culpo in 2012, who went on to win Miss Universe 2012.
